Emma has arrived home and sent us this email:
wow, i cannot believe its actually been a year! its gone by so fast, and ive finally made it home!
the airport was so hard, saying goodbyes are never easy! it just breaks my heart, but i know ill see you guys again! hopefully sooner than later!
the flight to vancouver wasnt all that bad, thirteen and a half hours, and i had three seats to myself so i pretty much just sprawled out and enjoyed the extra room, and slept! and then the connection from vancouver to toronto was much much easier this time around! which was great! i was only there for about an hour and a half and then boarded the plane, when i got to toronto first thing i did before heading to baggage claim was buy an iced cap! soooo good, and so worth it! then i got my luggage which was good, and then i had my ipod on, and then i saw my aunt, and i stopped to take my ipod out, but they saw me! and it was just the best feeling in the world, so undescribable, my sister just ran through the gates (i dont actually think she was allowed to!) but she gave me the biggest hug and tears just coming down her face, i was so excited and had this whole rush of emotions coming back, and my mom of course came running up not long after she did! and it was pretty much waterworks! but it was soooo good, so worth it! I didn't know what to expect at the airport, everyone was all soooo happy! and they too thought this year had gone by so ridiculously fast!!
Driving home was so weird, being on the other side of the road! My dad has a new truck, its so cool! and then we visited my aunt on the way home, she was so happy to see me then I drove home from there it was so weird being on the other side of the road.. and the car! but i managed, i mean i have to get used to it again sooner or later! It was so weird seeing all these canadian flags soaring high up in the air... now i actually notice these kinds of things, its amazing! Finally I was home, it was such a great feeling, although things have changed, some colours are different, things are moved around, other than that it feels like i havent even left! Although it is summer here, which is really easy to get used to!, its 7oclock now and its still sunny! im used to it being black at five!!
In a couple of days ill see some friends (the ones that dont know im home!!) its going to be so good being able to surprise them! i cant wait! I still have to show eveeerrryyyyonnnne all my pictures! which we all know will actually take days! but it will be so worth it!!!!
