Members needs to assist with Car Parking for Rotray Expo at Macquarie UniClub Service, 05/05/2009
Dear Members, We received this request to assist at Rotray Expo, with duties defined as assisting with the Car Parking duties near the Gym. The information we have is The overall agenda for the day is Expo will be open from 7.00am to allow exhibitors to set up.
Registration will open at 9.00am
First session for Avenues of Service will be from 9.45am
Given Expo is open to everybody people will be arriving and departing at different times during the day.
Parking: Each driver is given a voucher where they scrap and reveal the day month and year, the time taken to explain to them what they need to do , and when it becomes busy the cars start to bank up therefore we found the best way was to pre scrap the card and move them on.
We pay $5.00 for each card therefore we have to ensure we don’t get to far ahead of ourselves and scrap to many because once scrap that’s it $5.00 gone
Also we can recycle parking voucher on the day by collecting voucher from those who leave early and giving them to the new arrivals.
Given the above information we need:
2 people from 7.00am to 8.00am
4 people from 8.00am to 9.30am
2 people from 9.30am to 1.00pm
I will meet you at the car park at 6.55am and hand over voucher and fluo jackets
So far we have two volunteers and and need more volunteers especially to cover the period from 9.30 to 1.00pm.
